Attendance on Demand can be configured to alert an employee when they forget to punch at a time clock or via Employee Self Service.
The system will notify the manager that a trigger has been pushed to the employee directly on the Time Card screen.
The Employee will receive a notification in the Mobile App.
The employee will be presented with any date(s) where they have a missing punch on their time card.
The employee will be prompted to enter in the time of the missing punch. The employee can click the "Details" button to see the remaining punches from the time card. They can even type a note to the manager if desired.
Using the "Details" button the time card is viewable to the employee. (Below)
The punch time along with the message (if, any) are sent back to the time card body for the manager to see and approve.
Managers can click on the "clipboard" icon next to the Employee Response and decide whether to approve or deny it.
The employee will be able to track whether the punch has been approved, denied or is still pending directly from the TimeLine in the ESS Mobile app.
Once approved the punch is posted to the timecard and marked as an "added Punch".
The edit will be listed in the Audit trail as an "Employee Added Transaction"
