To create a user account for a manager/supervisor to log into Attendance on Demand, simply have an existing user with Admin access navigate to "System Setup" -- "Login Accounts"
At the top of the screen click the "Add Account" button.
Fill in the fields shown below and click "OK". Remember to set the proper User Group and Profile based on the desired access for this account.
Please Note - The "Email Address" field is essential when using OpenID 3rd Party Providers such as Microsoft, Facebook, etc.
Checking the "Cannot Manage Password" box will force the end user to use one of the approved Identity Providers and prevent the employee from creating a "local application" user account.
Once the account is created navigate to the "Operator Workgroup Access Rights".
Click the "Add New" button at the top of the screen to generate a new access line below. Don't forget to click the Blue "Update" Button to save your changes.
Once added the end user will receive an email like the one shown below. The employee can simply click the "Register Now" button
Please Note - The end user may need to click on "Trust Sender" at the top of the screen to enable the button to work. This depends on the email policies.
The End user then selects the desired service provider. In this case the end user would select "with Microsoft"
Please Note - They should ignore the Password field below and just click the orange "With Microsoft" Button.
The end user would then get prompted to login using their Microsoft credentials. once finished they will be taken to the screen below where they can click the "Login" button to start using Attendance on Demand.
Once they login to AOD, all future login attempts will show the screen below. They can ignore the Username and password fields and simply click the "With Microsoft" button to login.
*Should you need to resend the onboarding inviation, you do not need to delete the account in AOD and start over. You can simply navigate to the account and click the blue "Maintain" button at the bottom of the account screen.
Simply check the "Remove all Tokens" box and click OK.
Go back in and send an invitation by clicking the blue "Maintain" button. Check the "Send Invitation" filed and click "OK".
**Note - You cannot remove a token and send a new invite in the same task. These need to be completed separately.
